Lau Kai Yuan is a Certified Advanced Behavioural Consultant and Certified Stress Management Consultant by Institute for Motivational Living, USA, and also a Certified Career Coach by The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning, ITOL UK and International Coaching Federation, USA. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance and an Executive Master of Business Administration with Multimedia University.

Prior to his appointment with Lifeskills Institute Malaysia as a Talent Management Consultant and Corporate Trainer, he has over 10 years of experience working in the manufacturing space within the human resource industry and specializing in HR learning and development. He was to oversees the regional learning and development teams that manage more than 1500 employees. His work focus was also to maximizing personal and group competency toward operational excellence. Kai also helped develop various talent management strategies at the corporate level for teams in China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia during his tenure with the manufacturing plants.

By nature, Kai is a talented conversationalist who connects easily and relates well with people from all walks of life. His many clients whom he trained commented him as highly relational and displays a powerful ability in understanding others – from the propensity to listen, empathize, understand, and bring light to the issues his participants and coachees may be facing. This makes him an engaging trainer who is adept in translating key concepts into real-life applications.
