Goh Ser Kee  has more than 25 years of track record to provide solutions to manage financial returns and risks of life insurance business, using actuarial and financial expertise to manage valuation, product development, asset and liability management, setting investment strategy, pricing, financial and risk management.  She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) since 2000.

She was the chief actuary and appointed actuary of various companies.  She has worked in MNCs in various functions, including regional office functions, big business units with premium of close to USD 2 billion, with subsidiaries that are joint ventures, and greenfield branches.   She has worked on various kinds of projects including a project to explore obtaining licence to start Takaful business, and several others to manage changes in regulatory and capital regimes, and part of the greenfield team to set up the first international life insurer’s operation in Cambodia.

She was the convenor of the actuarial subcommittee of Singapore’s Life Insurance Association from 2017 to 2021, leading projects for the industry and interfacing with the regulator on industry actuarial matters, for example change in capital regime, measures to manage economic volatility during COVID.

She has lived and worked in different countries / territories, including Singapore, Cambodia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and worked in Asia regional capacity. 

She has managed finance teams of more than 70 people, and has recruited and trained more than 400 actuaries and finance professional in the region over her career.  She enjoys seeing people growing and progressing in their career and profession, living out their talents.

In the last 3 years, she has pivoted to executive coaching, and life coaching, which allows her to work with wide range of people to help them thrive in their career and thrive in their life.   She also is currently a co-opted member of the insurance committee of the CPF Board in Singapore, and continues to provide consulting services to various insurance schemes of the industry in Singapore.
